Marcus Orlovsky, Chairman of the Board
Marcus Orlovsky is the founder of Bryanston Square, a company that works at a strategic level with
schools, Becta, TDA and NCSL. Since 2002 Marcus has worked with around 500 schools and created £2.5
billion of new buildings through the ‘Building Schools for the Future’ programme.
Among his previous roles, Marcus has been Director of Recruitment at one of the world’s largest
accountants, Ernst & Young; and Project Finance Director at Stanhope Properties. Here he borrowed
£5 billion to create major developments in the heart of London, including Broadgate, Ludgate,
Stockley Park and Chiswick Park.
Marcus enjoys renovating historic buildings and collects Russian art.
Dr Ian Billups, Technical Director
Ian is responsible for running Incerts Labs.
After reading Mathematics at St John’s College, Oxford, Ian completed an MSc and a PhD in
Computer Science at the University of Birmingham, where he has also been a visiting lecturer.
In 15 years as a software designer he worked on some highly-technical projects, from nuclear
submarine configuration to medical image analysis, before turning more recently to creating
larger, web-based systems to support businesses and schools.

Chris Padden, Managing Director
Chris was the driving force behind the creation of Incerts Education, and as Managing Director is
responsible for running the organization day-to-day. In the past 12 months he has worked on
everything from supporting users of the Incerts software to completing a substantial research
project on the technical and financial viability of the Incerts vision in 11 different countries.
Chris has a background in youth leadership development with the education charity AIESEC, working
with promising university students across the UK to enhance their ability to work as
socially-responsible, culturally-aware business leaders. As a student he took a secondment with
AIESEC to Brisbane, Australia to direct various education and charitable projects there.
Dan Matthews, Finance Director
Dan works for an award-winning investment management company, part of a small team that manages
funds of around £1 billion. At the same time he is studying to become a Chartered Financial Analyst.
As students, Chris and Dan worked together at AIESEC at the University of Manchester: Dan was the
president of AIESEC there at the time. Dan has also served on the North-West regional board of Young
Enterprise, the UK’s largest business and enterprise education charity.
